2021–22 San Francisco Dons Men's Basketball Team
The 2021–22 San Francisco Dons men's basketball team represented the University of San Francisco during the 2021–22 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Dons were led by third-year head coach Todd Golden, and played their home games at the War Memorial Gymnasium at the Sobrato Center as members of the West Coast Conference. USF began the season at 10–0, which marked the program's best start to a season since they opened with 26 straight wins in 1976–77. The Dons' perfect season ended with a one-point loss to Grand Canyon on December 18; they would ultimately wrap up their non-conference slate with a 13–2 record heading into WCC play. The Dons finished conference regular season play at 10–6 and were seeded fourth in that year's WCC tournament. Todd Golden
Todd Raymond Golden ( he, טוד ריימונד גולדן; born July 7, 1985) is an American-Israeli former basketball player and current head coach of the Florida Gators men's basketball team. Early life and education Golden grew up in Phoenix, where he graduated from Sunnyslope High School in 2003. Golden played basketball and baseball at Sunnyslope and helped Sunnyslope win the 2002 Arizona 4A state championship in basketball. In 2003, Golden enrolled at Saint Mary's College of California, where he played guard for the Saint Mary's Gaels from 2004 to 2008. The Gaels would make appearances in the 2005 and 2008 NCAA Tournaments during his career, though he did not appear in their sole 2005 NCAA tournament game, a 65-56 loss to Southern Illinois. The 2020–21 San Diego Toreros men's basketball team represented the University of San Diego during the 2020–21 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. The Toreros were led by third-year head coach Sam Scholl. They played their home games at Jenny Craig Pavilion in San Diego, California as members of the West Coast Conference. The Idaho Vandals men's basketball team represents the University of Idaho, located in Moscow, Idaho, in NCAA Division I basketball competition. They currently compete in the Big Sky Conference.
