2021 NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series
The 2021 NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series was the fourteenth season of the NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in Mexico. It was the seventeenth season of the series as a NASCAR-sanctioned series. It began with the race at Súper Óvalo Chiapas on 23 May and ended with the race at Autódromo Miguel E. Abed on 5 December. Salvador de Alba Jr. won his first championship in the series, prevailing in a tight points battle he and three-time series champion Rubén García Jr. had during the season. Both of them as well as two-time series champion Abraham Calderón, defending series champion Rubén Rovelo, and José Luis Ramírez won races in 2021. This was the last year that PEAK (and parent company Old World Industries) was the title sponsor of the series. Trióvalo Internacional De Cajititlán
Trióvalo Internacional de Cajititlán (formerly Trióvalo Bernardo Obregón) is a three-quarter-mile tri-oval racetrack located in Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, Jalisco, Mexico, near the Laguna de Cajititlán and Guadalajara International Airport, in the Guadalajara metropolitan area. Apodaca () is a city and its surrounding municipality that is part of Monterrey Metropolitan area. It lies in the northeastern part of the Monterrey Metropolitan Area. It is known for becoming recently a heavy industrialized city. As of 2019, the city houses 70% of the industrial plants of the state of Nuevo León. Autódromo Monterrey
The Autódromo Monterrey is a racetrack in Apodaca, Nuevo León, México, in the Monterrey metropolitan area. The track currently is operated by DIPSA and host races for NASCAR PEAK Mexico Series, NASCAR México, drag racing, karting and Volkswagen Beetle, Volks races. History The track is located front the Del Norte International Airport. The Autódromo was inaugurated in 1970 by Filiberto Jiménez. In the 1970s, 500 km of Monterrey was the main event in this circuit. Layout The track has a long straight (used for drag racing), followed by a chicane (turn 1) which takes the drivers to a hairpin turn. Turn 6 is another chicane, together with T1 was added later. Originally the last curve was a banking turn, now used in the short layout. In the long version there is a bypass that conducts to the second part of this turn. Super Óvalo Potosino
The Super Óvalo Potosino (formerly Autódromo Potosino) is a half-mile paved oval located near the city of San Luis Potosí in Mexico. The track was opened in 1983 as a road course. It was built by Promotodo, an enterprise owned by Michel Jourdain Sr., which organized the defunct Marlboro Cup, which was arguably the most important racing series in the country at that time. In 2005, after several years of not being used, the track was rebuilt as a half-mile oval to host NASCAR events. The track is used primarily by the NASCAR Corona Series and T4 Series.
