2018 Ginetta GT4 Supercup
The 2018 Michelin Ginetta GT4 Supercup is a multi-event, one make GT motor racing championship held across England and Scotland. The championship features a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded drivers, competing in Ginetta G55s that conform to the technical regulations for the championship. It forms part of the extensive program of support categories built up around the BTCC centrepiece. It is the eighth Ginetta GT4 Supercup, having rebranded from the Ginetta G50 Cup, which ran between 2008 and 2010. The season commenced on 1 April at Brands Hatch – on the circuit's Indy configuration – and concludes on 30 September at the same venue, utilising the Grand Prix circuit, after twenty-two races held at eight meetings, all in support of the 2017 British Touring Car Championship season. 2018 British Touring Car Championship
The 2018 Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (commonly abbreviated as BTCC) was a motor racing championship for production-based touring cars held across England and Scotland. It was sponsored by Dunlop. The championship featured a mix of professional motor racing teams and privately funded amateur drivers competing in highly modified versions of family cars which were sold to the general public and conform to the technical regulations for the championship. The 2018 season was the 61st British Touring Car Championship season and the eighth season for cars conforming to the Next Generation Touring Car (NGTC) technical specification. The 2018 season also marked the 60th anniversary since the series’ introduction. The thirty races held during the season saw seventeen different drivers win a race, setting a new championship record. Snetterton Circuit
Snetterton Circuit is a motor racing course in Norfolk, England, originally opened in 1953. Owned by Jonathan Palmer's MotorSport Vision organisation, it is situated on the A11 road north-east of the town of Thetford and south-west of the city of Norwich. Croft Circuit is a motor racing circuit located near Dalton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire, England. The tarmac circuit is long and is based on the lands of an airfield, but has long since moved on from being a basic airfield circuit. The circuit holds meetings of the British Touring Car Championship, British Rallycross and Pickup Truck Racing race series. Oulton Park is a hard surfaced track used for motor racing, close to the village of Little Budworth, Cheshire, England. It is about from Winsford, from Chester city centre, from Northwich and from Warrington, with a nearby rail connection along the Mid-Cheshire Line. Donington Park is a motorsport circuit located near Castle Donington in Leicestershire, England. Michael Crees
Michael Sean Crees (born 7 September 1983) is a British racing driver from England currently competing in the 2022 British Touring Car Championship with CarStore Power Maxed Racing. Racing career A relative latecomer to racing, Crees joined the BTCC grid in 2019 after spending the previous season in the Ginetta GT4 Supercup, where he secured the Am Class title. His debut season saw him compete for Team HARD at the wheel of a Volkswagen CC, and he secured a points scoring finish on his debut at Brands Hatch. His best result would come later in the season at Silverstone Circuit, where Crees broke into the top ten for the first time.
