The 2017–18 South Carolina Gamecocks men's basketball team represented the University of South Carolina during the 2017–18 NCAA Division I men's basketball season. Frank Martin (basketball)
Francisco José Martin (born March 23, 1966) is an American basketball coach serving as the head coach for the University of Massachusetts men's basketball team. Martin was previously the head coach of the University of South Carolina men's basketball team for ten seasons. Prior to that, he was the head coach of Kansas State University for five seasons. Martin has led his teams to a total of five NCAA tournaments and 1 Final Four appearance as a head coach. He was named the Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Coach of the Year in 2010. Duane Notice (born September 7, 1994) is a Canadian basketball player for the Sudbury Five of the National Basketball League of Canada. He played college basketball for the University of South Carolina where he is the all-time leader in games played. He won the SEC Sixth Man of the Year award in 2016 and played in the 2017 Final Four. He also plays for the Canadian national team.
