2017–18 Primera B Nacional
The 2017–18 Argentine Primera B Nacional is the 33rd season of the Argentine second division. The season began in September 2017 and ended in June 2018. Twenty-five teams competed in the league, seventeen returning from the 2016–17 season, four teams that were relegated from Primera División and two teams promoted from Federal A and B Metropolitana. Competition format The league's format changed from the previous season. Twenty-five teams play each other once for a total of twenty-four matches each. The Champion earns promotion to the Primera División. The teams placed 2nd to 9th compete in the "Torneo Reducido" for the second promotion after the regular season ends. Primera B Nacional
Primera Nacional (usually called simply Nacional B, in English "National B Division", and known as Primera B Nacional until the 2019–20 season) is the second division of the Argentine football league system. The competition is made up of 37 teams. It is played by teams from all over the country. Clubs from Buenos Aires surroundings, as well as some from Santa Fe Province, are promoted from or relegated to the Primera B Metropolitana ("Metropolitan B Division") while for teams from the other provinces the Torneo Federal A ("Federal A Tournament") is the next level down. In Argentine football, Nacional B is the second-highest league, and from it, the three best teams are automatically promoted to Primera División. Club Agropecuario Argentino is an Argentine football club sited in Carlos Casares, a city of Buenos Aires Province. Deportivo Riestra
Deportivo Riestra Asociación de Fomento Barrio Colón, also known as Deportivo Riestra, is an Argentine sports club from Buenos Aires. The club is mainly focused on football, with the senior squad currently playing in Primera B Nacional, the second division of the Argentine league system. Besides, the futsal team plays in Primera D, the fourth tier division. Deportiva Riestra also has youth and women's teams competing in different tournaments and divisions. Club Deportivo Morón is an Argentine sports club located in the city of Morón, Buenos Aires. Deportivo Morón's football team currently plays in Primera B Nacional, the second division of the Argentine football league system. The club was founded in 1947 under the name "Club Sportivo Morón". Three years later the club joined the AFA and began playing in "Tercera de Ascenso", (now Primera C Metropolitana). Club Atlético Brown (mostly known as Brown de Adrogué) is an Argentine football club from the Adrogué neighborhood in Greater Buenos Aires. The team currently plays in Primera B Nacional, the second division of the Argentine football league system. History The club was formed in 1945 as a multidisciplinary sports club. Club Almagro is an Argentine sports club from José Ingenieros, Buenos Aires, although its headquarters are in the Almagro district. The football team currently plays in the Primera Nacional, the second division of the Argentine football league system. Club Villa Dálmine is an Argentine football club from Campana, Buenos Aires Province. The team currently plays in Primera B Nacional, the second level of the Argentine football league system. Due to a financial crisis, the club was named "Club Atlético Campana" between 1993 and February 2000, after which it reassumed its original and current name.
