Club Agropecuario Argentino is an Argentine football club sited in Carlos Casares, a city of Buenos Aires Province. Founded in 2011, the club is one of the youngest institutions affiliated to the Argentine Football Association. Carlos Casares, Buenos Aires
Carlos Casares (often referred to as Casares) is a town in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is the head town of the Carlos Casares Partido. History The settlement gradually developed around a station on the Buenos Aires Western Railway, opened in 1889. The station was named after Carlos Casares, Governor of Buenos Aires between 1875 and 1878. The town and '' partido'' were founded on 8 January 1907, from territory taken from Nueve de Julio Partido and Pehuajó Partido. The Torneo Federal A (in English "Federal A Tournament") is one of the two professional leagues that form the regionalised third level of the Argentine football league system, along with Primera B Metropolitana. The competition was established in 2014 as a result of a change in the structure of the league system, replacing Torneo Argentino A. Federal A is organised by "Consejo Federal", a division of the Argentine Football Association. Clubs in Federal A have indirect membership in AFA unlike clubs in Primera B, which have direct membership. All teams with indirect membership are from outside the city of Buenos Aires (playing in regional leagues) and its metropolitan area (Greater Buenos Aires), while most of the direct members are from the aforementioned area. Club Mutual Crucero del Norte (simply known as Crucero del Norte) is an Argentine sports club based in Garupá, Misiones Province. The club was founded in 2003 by a long-distance bus company which gave its name to the institution. Although the club is mostly known for its association football team, other sports such as field hockey, paddle tennis and tennis are hosted. Club Atlético Gimnasia y Esgrima (usually known as Gimnasia y Esgrima de Mendoza) is an Argentine football club located in the city of Mendoza. They currently plays in the Primera B Nacional, the second division of the Argentine football league system. History The club was founded in 1890 as "Club de Esgrima" (Fencing Club) with Dr. Carlos Ponce as its first president. 2016–17 Torneo Federal A
The 2016–17 Argentine Torneo Federal A, was the 4th season of the third tier of the Argentine football league system. The tournament is reserved for teams indirectly affiliated to the Asociación del Fútbol Argentino (AFA), while teams affiliated to AFA have to play the Primera B Metropolitana, which is the other third tier competition. The champion was promoted to Primera B Nacional. 36 teams are competing in the league, 32 returning from the 2016 season, 1 team that was relegated from Primera B Nacional and 3 teams promoted from Federal B. The regular season began on September 3, 2016 and ended on July 16, 2017. Penalty Shoot-out (association Football)
A penalty shoot-out (officially kicks from the penalty mark) is a tie-breaking method in association football to determine which team is awarded victory in a match that cannot end in a draw, when the score is tied after the normal time as well as extra time (if used) have expired. In a penalty shoot-out, each team takes turns shooting at goal from the penalty mark, with the goal defended only by the opposing team's goalkeeper. Each team has five shots which must be taken by different kickers; the team that makes more successful kicks is declared the victor. Shoot-outs finish as soon as one team has an insurmountable lead. If scores are level after five pairs of shots, the shootout progresses into additional " sudden-death" rounds. Balls successfully kicked into the goal during a shoot-out do not count as goals for the individual kickers or the team, and are tallied separately from the goals scored during normal play (including extra time, if any). Torneo Argentino B
Torneo Argentino B was one of two leagues that form the fourth level of the Argentine football league system, made up of 100+ teams playing within eight regional zones across Argentina. The other league at level four wasand still isthe Primera C Metropolitana, which is a competition for the numerous clubs in the city of Buenos Aires and the Greater Buenos Aires metropolitan area. The Torneo Argentino B season would end with the top teams from each zone playing in cross-over playoffs, culminating with overall champions and a number of teams (varied by season) eligible for promotion to the following season's Torneo Argentino A competition.
