2013 Bandy World Championship
The 2013 Bandy World Championship was an edition of the top annual event in international bandy, held between January 23 and February 3, 2013, in Norway and Sweden. 14 countries participated in the 2013 championships: Belarus, Finland, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, Sweden (group A), Canada, Estonia, Japan, Hungary, Latvia, the Netherlands, Ukraine and the United States (group B). The B-group Championship was played in Sapa Arena in Vetlanda. The B-Group games were only played 2x30 minutes. Frogner is a residential and retail borough in the West End of Oslo, Norway, with a population of 59,269 as of 2020. Frogner Stadion
Frogner stadion is a sports stadium in Oslo, Norway, which has artificial ice in the winter for speed skating and bandy. The artificial grass is used in the summer for soccer and American football. It is located close to the Frogner Park, between the park and Majorstuen. One match, Norway national bandy team, Norway-Belarus national bandy team, Belarus, was played here at the 2013 Bandy World Championship. Slättbergshallen is a sports venue for ice sports in Trollhättan, Sweden. It opened on 14 November 2009. It consists of one indoor venue with a bandy field, which holds 3,400 people, but can hold 4,000 at bigger events, and two indoor venues with ice hockey rinks, one with a spectator capacity of around 2,000 and one without. Heden Arena
Heden is a ballcourt and public space and square in the centre of Gothenburg, Sweden. Football matches are played there in the run-up to the final of the Gothia Cup. The final is played at Ullevi. Also the largest handball tournament in the world is played there during the summer: Partille Cup, when Heden is transformed to a handball festival with over 50 playing fields and 15,000 players. Arena Vänersborg is an indoor arena in Vänersborg, Sweden. It is used for bandy, concerts and other events. The arena serves as home field for IFK Vänersborg. Vetlanda
Vetlanda () is a locality and the seat of Vetlanda Municipality, Jönköping County, Sweden with 13,050 inhabitants in 2010. History Vetlanda was still nothing more than a village for several centuries. With the 1840s population boom in Småland, and the industrial revolution winning ground in Sweden, the industry expanded and people settled in the village. With the railways crossing Vetlanda in the late 19th century the population further blossomed, and Vetlanda got the title of a city on New Year's Day 1920, at which time its population amounted to 3,015. Sapa Arena is an indoor bandy and ice hockey rink in Vetlanda in Sweden. It is the home venue of Vetlanda BK, and was inaigurated on 10 September 2011 with a men's friendly bandy game where Vetlanda BK defeated Hammarby IF, 5–3. Sapa Arena holds 2,000 people.
