2007–08 ABA NLB League
The ABA NLB League 2007–08, the seventh season of the regional Liga ABA, saw a further change in the competition structure. After trying a playoff system the previous year, the league returned to a combination of elimination and a Final Four tournament. 14 teams from Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia participated in the NLB League in its seventh season: Union Olimpija, Helios, Geoplin Slovan, Cibona, Zadar, Zagreb, Split, Široki ERONET, Crvena zvezda, Partizan, Hemofarm, FMP Železnik, Vojvodina and Budućnost. There were 26 rounds played in the regular part of the season. Eight best teams from the regular season qualified for the best-of-three quarter-final series. The Final Four Tournament was later held in Ljubljana. Partizan became the 2008 League Champion. Liga ABA
The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). Due to sponsorship reasons, the league was also known as the Goodyear League from 2001 to 2006, the NLB League from 2006 to 2011, and as the AdmiralBet ABA League from 2021. The league coexists alongside scaled-down national leagues in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, North Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia, and Slovenia. All but one of Adriatic League clubs join their country's own competitions in late spring after the Adriatic League regular season and post-season have been completed. Košarkaški klub Cibona, commonly referred to as Cibona Zagreb or simply Cibona, is a men's professional basketball sports club, club based in Zagreb, Croatia. The club is a founding member and shareholder of the ABA League JTD, Adriatic Basketball Association, and competes in the ABA League, Adriatic League and the HT Premijer liga, Croatian League. Ljubljana
Ljubljana (also known by other historical names) is the capital and largest city of Slovenia. It is the country's cultural, educational, economic, political and administrative center. KK Union Olimpija
Košarkarski klub Olimpija ( en, Olimpija Basketball Club) was a men's professional basketball club based in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Olimpija has won 23 National League championships, including eight consecutive titles between 1992 and 1999. They have played in two different National Leagues since 1946, the Yugoslav Federal League (1946–1991) and the Slovenian League (1991–2019). Arena Gripe
Gripe Sports Center ( hr, Športski centar Gripe) is a sports complex located in the Gripe city district of Split, Croatia. It features four indoor halls, and is used to host many sports, as well as concerts. The seating capacity of the small indoor hall is 3,500, and of the biggest one is 6,000.
