2007 Naisten Liiga
The 2007 Naisten Liiga, part of the 2007 Finnish football season, was the first season of the 2006 established Naisten Liiga. The Kansallinen Liiga ('National League') is the premier division of women's football in Finland. It was previously called the Jalkapallon naisten SM-sarja ('Women's Football Finnish Championship Series') during 1974 to 2006 and the Naisten Liiga (, 'Women's League') during 2006 to 2019, The first season under the name Kansallinen Liiga was played in 2020. HJK Helsinki (women)
Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi is a Finnish women's football team representing HJK Helsinki in the Kansallinen Liiga. HJK is the championship's most successful team by a large margin, having won 22 titles between 1971 (its founding year) and 2005. The team enjoyed their best winning streak between 1995 and 2001. The following HJK reached the semifinals of the inaugural edition of the UEFA Women's Cup, their best result in three appearances in the competition. In the subsequent six years from 2005 it has failed to win the championship, finishing either 2nd, 3rd or 4th. However, it has been more successful in the national Cup, including three titles in a row between 2006–08. Tikkurilan Palloseura (abbreviated TiPS) is a football club from Tikkurila in Vantaa, Finland. The club was established in 1958 and its main catchment areas comprise Tikkurila and Hakunila in Itä-Vantaa (East Vantaa). The women's team competes in the Kansallinen Liiga ('National Liga') which is the highest division of women's football in Finland. Puistolan Urheilijat (abbreviated PuiU) is a sports club from Helsinki, Finland specialising in football, badminton, tennis, volleyball, bowling and fitness. The club was formed in 1929 and currently has 1,400 members. The men's football first team currently plays in the Kolmonen (Third Division) and its home ground is at the Puistolan liikuntapuisto.
