2003 Seve Trophy
The 2003 Seve Trophy took place 6–9 November at Campo de Golf Parador El Saler, Valencia, Spain. The team captain for Continental Europe was Seve Ballesteros, with the team captain for Great Britain and Ireland being Colin Montgomerie. The competition was won by Great Britain and Ireland. Format For the first time the event was staged over four days. There were five fourball matches on both Thursday and Friday, four greensomes matches on Saturday morning, four foursomes matches on Saturday afternoon and ten singles matches on Sunday. If the score finished at 14–14, then two players from each team (but not either captain) would play a two hole play-off using the greensomes format to find the winner. Niclas Fasth
Niclas Fasth (born 29 April 1972) is a Sweden, Swedish professional golfer. Early life Fasth was born in Gothenburg. In 1982, when he was 10 years old, his parents bought a summer house close to Lysegården Golf Club in Kungälv, north of Gothenburg. His family, with father Kristher, mother Inga-Lill and younger sister Jessica, used to spend their summers there and began playing golf. With a lot of friends also playing the game, young Fasth was always at the golf course, practiced a lot and showed early talent. Beside golf, Fasth practiced other sports and during winter time also showed talent in ice hockey. Brian Davis (golfer)
Brian Lester Davis (born 2 August 1974) is an English professional golfer. Davis was born in London. He turned professional in 1994 and became a member of the European Tour in 1997. He performed steadily for his first six seasons on the Tour, and won the 2000 Peugeot Open de España. In 2003, despite not winning a tournament, he had his best season by far to that time, finishing ninth on the European Tour Order of Merit. Justin Peter Rose, (born 30 July 1980) is an English professional golfer who plays most of his golf on the PGA Tour, while keeping his membership on the European Tour.
