Letov Š-31
__NOTOC__ The Letov Š-31 was a fighter aircraft produced in Czechoslovakia in the early 1930s in a number of variants. All of the aircraft had metal tubular framing and fabric covering with a metal engine cowling. The first flight of the definitive and highly altered Š.231 version was on March 17, 1933. After testing at the Czechoslovak flight facility at Prague-Lethany, modifications were undertaken to improve the machine's performance. It entered production the following year and began equipping Czech fighter units in June 1936. The machines however did not remain in frontline fighter status with the Czechoslovak Air Force until the German occupation of Czechoslovakia in 1939. The sole Š.331 and 22 out of 24 produced Š.231s were sold to representatives of the Spanish Republican government. Lopez Island Airport is a public use airport located three nautical miles (6 km) south of the central business district of Lopez, a village on Lopez Island in San Juan County, Washington, United States. It is owned by the Port of Lopez. Facilities and aircraft Lopez Island Airport covers an area of at an elevation of 209 feet (64 m) above mean sea level. It has one runway designated 16/34 with an asphalt surface measuring 2,904 by 60 feet (885 x 18 m). For the 12-month period ending May 31, 2007, the airport had 31,500 aircraft operations, an average of 86 per day: 75% general aviation and 25% air taxi. At that time there were 34 aircraft based at this airport: 94% single-engine, 3% multi-engine and 3% helicopter. Design and development The S-31 was a sesquiplane built for photographic work by the Fairchild Flying Corporation. It had two open cockpits and a cabin for the photographic equipment. S31 (Long Island Bus)
Suffolk County Transit operates a number of bus routes in Suffolk County, New York, United States; a few in the town of Huntington are operated by Huntington Area Rapid Transit. The Villages of Patchogue and Port Jefferson, also have had their own local jitney bus routes, although budget cuts have forced Port Jefferson to take its buses out of service. Some of them are descendants of streetcar lines (see List of streetcar lines on Long Island). Sunday service is operated on S1, S33, S40, S41, S45, S54, S58, S61, S66, S92, 3D and 10C routes. There is no service on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day (July 4); Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas Days. Warabitai Station
was a railway station in Oshamambe, Hokkaido, Japan, operated by the Hokkaido Railway Company (JR Hokkaido). Opened in 1904, it closed in March 2017. Lines Warabitai Station was served by the Hakodate Main Line, and was situated 126.9 km from the starting point of the line at . It was numbered S31. Station layout Warabitai Station has a single side platform serving a single track. History The station opened on October 15, 1904, as a Hokkaido railway line station. On July 1, 1907, with the nationalization of Hokkaido Railway, the station was transferred to the state-owned railway. Freight handling at the station was discontinued on February 7, 1975, and luggage handling was discontinued on February 1, 1984. It was destaffed in 1986. The Hamburg S-Bahn is a suburban commuter railway network in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region. Together, the S-Bahn, the Hamburg U-Bahn, the AKN railway and the regional railway form the backbone of railway public transport in the city and the surrounding area. The Karlsruhe Stadtbahn is a German tram-train system combining tram lines in the city of Karlsruhe with railway lines in the surrounding countryside, serving the entire region of the middle upper Rhine valley and creating connections to neighbouring regions. The Stadtbahn combines an efficient urban railway in the city with an S-Bahn (suburban railway), overcoming the boundary between trams and trains. Its logo does not include the green and white S-Bahn symbol used in other German suburban rail systems and the symbol is only used at stops and stations outside the inner-city tram-operation area. Mehran Highway ( sd, مِهِراڻ ُ هاءِوي, ur, , also known locally as Nawabshah–Kot Lalu–Kumb Road and officially as Highway 31) is a two-lane-wide, bidirectional, single carriageway, provincially maintained highway in Sindh that extends from Khairpur to Nawabshah.
