The ''23rd Game Developers Choice Awards'' was an annual ceremony by Game Developers Choice Awards for outstanding video game developer, game developers and video games which was held on March 22, 2023. The awards ceremony was held alongside the Independent Games Festival awards. Winners and Nominees Nominees were announced on January 26, 2023. Winners (noted in bold below) were named on March 22, 2023, in a ceremony hosted by Leslee Sullivant at the Moscone Center. The George R. Moscone Convention Center (), popularly known as the Moscone Center, is the largest convention and exhibition complex in San Francisco, California, United States. The complex consists of three main halls spread out across three blocks and in the South of Market, San Francisco, South of Market neighborhood. The convention center originally opened in 1981. Adam Saltsman, also known as Adam Atomic, is an American indie video game designer best known for creating the endless runner ''Canabalt''. It is set in a ruined fantasy world, where the player controls an anthropomorphic fox on a journey to free a fox spirit trapped in a crystal.
