2024 K League 1
The 2024 K League 1, also known as the Hana 1Q K League 1 for sponsorship reasons, is the ongoing 42nd season of the top division of professional football in South Korea, and the twelfth season of the K League 1. Ulsan HD are the defending champions. Teams Team changes Gimcheon Sangmu were promoted from the 2023 K League 2 after a one year absence from the top flight. Suwon Samsung Bluewings were relegated to 2024 K League 2 in the club's first absence from the top flight of Korean football. Jeju United
Jeju United Football Club (Hangul: 제주 유나이티드) is a South Korean professional football club based in Jeju Province that competes in the K League 1, the top division in South Korea. In the past, the club has been known as the ''Yukong Elephants'' and ''Bucheon SK''. Suwon FC ( ko, 수원 FC; Hanja: 水原 FC) is a South Korean professional football club based Suwon that competes in the K League 1, the top division of South Korea. They play their home games at Suwon Stadium. Daejeon Hana Citizen Football Club (Korean 대전 하나 시티즌 축구단) is a South Korean professional football team based in Daejeon that competes in the K League 1, the top tier of South Korean football. At the time of its foundation in 1997, Daejeon Citizen was the first community club in South Korea, not belonging to any company.
