2024 IndyCar Series
The 2024 NTT IndyCar Series will be the 113th official championship season of American open wheel racing and the 28th season under IndyCar Series sanction. Its showcase event will be the 108th running of the Indianapolis 500. Spanish driver Álex Palou will enter the season as the defending champion, having obtained his second IndyCar title in 2023, while Josef Newgarden will enter the season as the defending Indianapolis 500 winner. Background and series news The 2.2-liter engines used in the series are scheduled to have hybrid technology implemented after the original plans to debut a new 2.4-liter hybrid engine formula were scrapped. Marcus Armstrong
Marcus Cornelius Armstrong (born 29 July 2000) is a New Zealand motor racing driver. He is due to compete in IndyCar on road and street courses with Chip Ganassi Racing in 2023. Scott Ronald Dixon (born 22 July 1980) is a professional racing driver from New Zealand, who competes in the NTT IndyCar Series for Chip Ganassi Racing.
