2023–24 Kerala Blasters FC Season
The 2023–24 season is the tenth season in Kerala Blasters FC's existence, as well as their tenth season in the Indian Super League. It began in April 2023 with the 2023 Durand Cup. Ahead of the season, the Blasters ended their six-year association with their then most-capped player at the time, Sahal Abdul Samad, swapping him with Pritam Kotal from Mohun Bagan and also received a reported transfer fee of ₹90 lakhs. The club also made the most expensive signing its history by paying FC Goa a reported fee of ₹1.45 crores for the transfer of Aibanbha Dohling. The Blasters started their Indian Super League campaign with consecutive victories in their first two games of the season, an accomplishment unprecedented in the club's history. Kerala Blasters Football Club (), commonly referred to as The Blasters, is an Indian professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League, the top tier of football in India. The club was established in May 2014 during the inaugural season of the Indian Super League. The club played their inaugural match on 13 October 2014, losing 1–0 to NorthEast United. The Blasters are the three time runners up of the Indian Super League. They first entered the final in 2014, where they lost 1–0 to  ATK after an injury time goal from them. 2022–23 Kerala Blasters FC Season
The 2022–23 season was the ninth season in Kerala Blasters FC's existence, as well as their ninth season in the Indian Super League. This season of the ISL witnessed the return of the home-away format of the matches similar to that of the 2019–20 Indian Super League season after a break of two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the country. In this season, the Blasters travelled to United Arab Emirates for their pre-season preparations, but were forced to cancel all of their friendlies in UAE after AIFF received a ban from FIFA for 'third party intervention'. But the ban was revoked by FIFA just ten days later and Blasters played one friendly each in UAE and in Kerala ahead of the league season. Mohun Bagan Super Giant (commonly referred to as Mohun Bagan) is an Indian association football club based in Kolkata, West Bengal. Founded in 1889, it is one of the oldest football clubs in Asia. Aibanbha Kupar Dohling (born 23 March 1996) commonly known as Aiban, is an Indian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters. Club career Early career Born in Sohra, Meghalaya, Aiban started his career in the youth ranks of Shillong Lajong.
