2024–25 Kerala Blasters FC Season
The 2024–25 season is the eleventh season in Kerala Blasters FC's existence, as well as their eleventh season in the Indian Super League. Following the conclusion of the 2023–24 season, the Blasters started preparations for the new season right-away as just one week after their elimination from the 2023–24 league playoffs, the Blasters announced the departure of their head coach Ivan Vukomanović, who left the club as the most successful head coach in the history of the club, after his three years at the club. Vukomanović was replaced by the Swedish manager Mikael Stahre, who joined the club on a two-year contract in May 2024. The Blasters also bid farewell to their all-time top-scorer and the golden-boot winner, Dimitrios Diamantakos, who left the club in May for a new contract in East Bengal FC. Kerala Blasters Football Club (), commonly referred to simply as Blasters, is an Indian association football, professional football club based in Kochi, Kerala, that competes in the Indian Super League (ISL), the top tier of football in India. The club was established in May 2014 during the 2014 Indian Super League season, inaugural season of the ISL. The club played their inaugural match on 13 October 2014, losing 1–0 to NorthEast United FC, NorthEast United. The Blasters are the three-time runners-up of the Indian Super League. Daisuke Sakai
is a Japanese professional footballer who plays as a winger or attacking midfielder for Liga 1 club PSM Makassar. Dimitrios Diamantakos (; born 5 March 1993) is a Greek professional footballer who plays as a striker for Indian Super League club East Bengal. Club career Olympiacos Diamantakos started his career at Atromitos Piraeus, from which he moved to the youth teams of Olympiacos in 2009. The Indian Super League Golden Boot is an annual association football award presented to the leading goalscorer in a season of Indian Super League, the top tier Indian Football System. For sponsorship purposes, it was known as the Alto K10 Golden Boot from 2014 to 2015, the Swift Golden Boot from 2016 to 2019 and the Maruti Suzuki Golden Boot in 2020. The Indian Super League was founded in 2013, eight teams competed in the 2014 inaugural season. Mikael Stahre
Mikael Lennart Tage "Micke" Stahre (; born 5 July 1975) is a Swedish professional football manager who was most recently in charge of Indian Super League club Kerala Blasters. Managerial career Stahre is a national men's junior championship winning coach after leading the AIK youth side to the title in 2004. He has also trained youth teams at Hammarby IF and Gröndals IK. From 2007 to 2008, he had served as manager of Väsby United. Stahre was appointed as AIK's manager on 10 November 2008, following the end of the 2008 campaign, replacing Rikard Norling.
