2023 Solheim Cup
The 2023 Solheim Cup was the 18th edition of the Solheim Cup matches, held 22–24 September in southern Spain at the Finca Cortesin in Casares, Andalusia. The Solheim Cup is a biennial team competition between the top women professional golfers from Europe and the United States. Stacy Lewis captained the U.S. team for the first time and Suzann Pettersen captained the European team for the first time. The par-72 course was set at . The previous competition in 2021 was won by Europe, 15 points to 13. The Solheim Cup will return to even-numbered years in 2024, the first time since 2002; the Ryder Cup returned to an odd-year schedule after the 2020 competition was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Céline Boutier (born 10 November 1993) is a French professional golfer. Amateur career Boutier won several international amateur events including the 2012 European Ladies Amateur Championship and the 2015 British Ladies Amateur. Megan Khang
Megan Khang (born October 23, 1997) is an American professional golfer. She plays on the LPGA Tour and is the first player of Hmong and Laotian descent to do so. Khang's parents were refugees from the Vietnam War from Laos and came to the United States with their respective families in the 1970s. Linn Maria Grant (born 20 June 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour and Ladies European Tour. Maja Sofia Stark (born 10 December 1999) is a Swedish professional golfer. She has six Ladies European Tour titles and earned LPGA Tour membership through her victory at the 2022 ISPS Handa World Invitational. Caroline Martens (born 27 December 1986) is a retired Norwegian professional golfer. She played on the Ladies European Tour 2011–2018, and served as a vice-captain at the 2023 Solheim Cup.
