The 2023 Russian Super Cup (''russian: Суперкубок России по футболу 2023'') was the 21st edition of the Russian Super Cup, an annual football match organised jointly by the Russian Football Union and the Russian Premier League. It was contested by the reigning champions of the Russian Cup and the Russian Premier League. The match featured PFC CSKA Moscow, the champions of the 2022–23 Russian Cup, and FC Zenit Saint Petersburg, the winners of the 2022–23 Russian Premier League. The 2007 Russian Super Cup was the 5th Russian Super Cup match, a football match which was to be contested between the 2006 Russian Premier League champion and the winner of 2005–06 Russian Cup. However, because the same team won both the league and the cup for the second consecutive season, the match was contested between the champion and the runner-up of the Russian Premier League, CSKA Moscow and Spartak Moscow, respectively, also for the second consecutive season.
