Agustín Destribats
Agustín Alejandro Destribats (born October 30, 1997) is an Argentinian freestyle wrestler who currently competes at 65 kilograms. A three-time South American champion, Destribats qualified to represent Argentina at the 2020 Summer Olympics when he defeated three–time NCAA Division I National champion Zain Retherford at the 2020 Pan American Olympic Qualification Tournament. Career Destribats started wrestling when he was nine years old in a local club that offered savate, capoeira, and wrestling. In 2013 he won the South American Youth Games in both, freestyle and Greco-Roman and in 2014 he won gold in the Pan American Championships as a cadet in freestyle. Alex Moore (wrestler)
Alexander Robert Moore (born August 18, 1997) is a Canadian freestyle wrestler competing in the 86 kg freestyle event. Personal life Moore grew up with the sport of wrestling and has been involved with it from a young age. Moore attended Selwyn House School, where his father was the wrestling coach, Vanier College and Concordia University in Montreal. Career Junior Moore first represented Canada at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics in Nanjing, China, where he finished in 6th place in the 63 kg freestyle event. Moore followed this up with back to back gold medals at the Pan American Junior Championships in 2016 and 2017. Senior Moore's first senior competition came at the 2018 Commonwealth Games in the Gold Coast, Australia, where Moore finished in fifth place in the 86 event. Yurieski Torreblanca Queralta (born March 14, 1989) is a Cuban freestyle wrestler who competes at 86 kilograms. A three-time Pan American Champion, Torreblanca won gold medals at the 2019 Pan American Games and the 2018 Central American and Caribbean Games. Shane Geoffrey Jones (born 3 September 1959) is a New Zealand politician and a member of the New Zealand House of Representatives for the New Zealand First party. Jasmit Phulka
Jasmit Singh Phulka (born October 11, 1993) is a Canadian freestyle wrestler. As of July 2023, he is ranked 35 by UWW. In 2018, Phulka debuted at the World Wrestling Championships which was held in Budapest. Early life and career Phulka was born and raised in Abbotsford, British Columbia. He is the son of Harjit Singh and Supinderjit Kaur Phulka. His elder brother, Chanmit is also a Pan American Champion wrestler. Phulka began his wrestling career at a young age of 10. Jasmit Phulka's first medal in the seniors' category was in 2013 Commonwealth Wrestling Championship which was held in Johannesburg. Jordan Ernest Burroughs (born July 8, 1988) is an American freestyle wrestler and former folkstyle wrestler who currently competes at 79 kilograms, and previously competed at 74 kilos. Franklin Gómez Matos (born August 5, 1986) is a Dominican-born Puerto Rican freestyle wrestler. Early years and education Gómez was born in Puerto Plata Province in the Dominican Republic. His father, Eugenio Gómez, was a fisherman and his mother, Margarita Matos, was a housewife. In 1991, Franklin's father died as a consequence of medical malpractice. As a result, his mother decided to move to Puerto Rico, along with Franklin and her other two sons: Emanuel and Abel. During childhood, Gómez played basketball and baseball.
