2023 Pacific Rugby League Championships
The 2023 Rugby League Pacific Championships was the second edition of the Rugby League Pacific Championship and the first under its current name (having previously been called the Oceania Cup in 2019). The championship included a collection of international rugby league tournaments to be played from October to November 2023 between nations located in the Pacific region. The competition was played in three groupings: the Pacific Cup for higher ranking men's teams, the Pacific Bowl for lower ranking men's teams, and a section of women's matches played throughout. 2020 Oceania Cup (rugby League)
The 2020 Oceania Cup was to be the second edition of the Oceania Cup. The competition was scheduled to begin in June and conclude in November, but has since been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The competition would have split six competing nations into two tiered pools. Pool A would have consisted of , , and , who earned promotion by winning Pool B in 2019, and replaced , who were scheduled to tour the Northern Hemisphere. The were to join Pool B for the first time, alongside and . Fixtures A schedule was announced in February, though venues and dates were unconfirmed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. On 20 March, it was announced that the June doubleheader had been postponed. In May, the NRL announced that the 2020 NRL Grand Final would be played on 25 October, which further delayed the Oceania Cup. It was eventually cancelled on 4 September 2020. Kyle Laybutt (born 26 September 1995) is a Papua New Guinea international rugby league footballer who plays as a and for the Townsville Blackhawks in the Intrust Super Cup. Niall Williams-Guthrie (''née'' Williams; born 21 April 1988) is a New Zealand rugby league player. She has represented New Zealand in rugby sevens and touch rugby at an international level. She has won silver medals as part of New Zealand's touch football team in 2011, and in the 2016 Rio Olympics as a member of New Zealand's sevens team.
