2023 Orlando Pride Season
The 2023 Orlando Pride season will be Orlando Pride's eighth season in the National Women's Soccer League, the top division of women's soccer in the United States. Notable events On November 11, 2022, Seb Hines was confirmed as permanent head coach having acted as interim head coach from June 7, 2022, following the suspension of Amanda Cromwell. In the same announcement, it was stated Ian Fleming had been removed as general manager after 24 months in the role. Haley Carter was named as general manager and VP of soccer operations on January 30, 2023. On February 28, 2023, having played the previous season wearing white shorts as part of the secondary kit, the club announced they were making the switch to black shorts to make players more comfortable when playing during their menstrual cycle. Orlando Pride
The Orlando Pride is a professional women's soccer team based in Orlando, Florida. The team joined the National Women's Soccer League, the top level of women's soccer in the US, for the 2016 season. Kaylie Ann Collins (born May 17, 1998) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a goalkeeper for Washington Spirit of the National Women's Soccer League. UCF Knights Women's Soccer
The UCF Knights women's soccer program represents the University of Central Florida in National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division I. The Knights compete in the American Athletic Conference (The American) through the 2022 season, after which they will join the Big 12 Conference. Carrie Elizabeth Lawrence (born July 15, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Early life Growing up in Orlando, Florida, Lawrence was an All-Metro and All-State Player for Timber Creek High School and was named Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player while capturing Metro and District championships. Bollklubben Häcken Fotbollsförening are a women's football club based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Founded in 1970 as Landvetters IF and known as Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC between 2004 and 2020, the club became the women's section of the men's club BK Häcken in 2021, although as a separate club which is a subsidiary of BK Häcken for legal reasons. Emily May Madril (born July 1, 1999) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Orlando Pride of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Madril spent her collegiate career with the Florida State Seminoles and was part of the 2021 National Championship winning team before being drafted third overall in the 2023 NWSL Draft by Orlando Pride.
