BK Häcken FF
Bollklubben Häcken Fotbollsförening are a women's football club based in Gothenburg, Sweden. Founded in 1970 as Landvetters IF and known as Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC between 2004 and 2020, the club became the women's section of the men's club BK Häcken in 2021, although as a separate club which is a subsidiary of BK Häcken for legal reasons. BK Häcken FF play their home games at Bravida Arena in Gothenburg. The team colors are yellow and black. The club won their first Damallsvenskan title in 2020. History BK Häcken was established in 1970 as Landvetters IF in Landvetter, a town near Gothenburg. In 2004, the club moved into Gothenburg city and changed its name to Kopparbergs/Göteborg FC accordingly. Veteran Bo Falk was the club's head coach from 1999 until 2004. From 2005 until 2007, the coach was Martin Pringle. He was replaced by Torbjörn Nilsson for the 2008 season. Bravida Arena
Nya Rambergsvallen, currently known as Bravida Arena for sponsorship reasons, and as Hisingen Arena for UEFA competitions, is an association football stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden. The project was initiated by Allsvenskan side BK Häcken and Gothenburg Municipality to build a new 6,000 to 7,000 capacity stadium in the Hisingen area of Gothenburg, Sweden. History A new stadium in the Hisingen area had been discussed for years time prior to the announcement that BK Häcken and Gothenburg Municipality had agreed. One of the reasons for building a new stadium is the new stadium criteria by the Swedish Football Association which went into effect in 2014. Solveig Josefine Kristina Rybrink (born 19 January 1998) is a Swedish footballer who plays as a defender for the Damallsvenskan team BK Häcken. Rybrink made her debut for the Sweden women's national football team in February 2021. Ruby Grant (born 15 April 2002) is an English footballer who plays for the United States college soccer team North Carolina Tar Heels as a midfielder. She previously played for West Ham United and Arsenal in the FA WSL. Elin Ingrid Johanna Rubensson (born 11 May 1993) is a Swedish football midfielder currently playing in the Damallsvenskan for BK Häcken and the Swedish National Team.
