2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl
The 2023 Myrtle Beach Bowl was a college football bowl game played on December 16, 2023, at Brooks Stadium in Conway, South Carolina. The fourth edition of the Myrtle Beach Bowl, the game featured the Georgia Southern Eagles from the Sun Belt Conference and the Ohio Bobcats from the Mid-American Conference (MAC). It began at approximately 11:00 a.m. EST and was televised on ESPN. It was the first of the 2023–24 bowl games concluding the 2023 FBS football season. The game was originally scheduled for December 18, 2023, but was moved forward by two days to help accommodate a venue move for the 2023 Famous Toastery Bowl. Ohio's Freshman running back Rickey Hunt had 115 rushing yards and five total TDs with four if those coming on the ground. Brooks Stadium
Brooks Stadium is a 21,000-seat multi-purpose stadium in Conway, South Carolina. It is home to the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers football team at Coastal Carolina University. The facility opened in 2003 and is named in honor of Coby Garrett Brooks and Boni Belle Brooks, children of Robert Brooks. Brooks was a Loris, South Carolina native and was the chairman of Hooters of America, Inc. The stadium is notable for its teal artificial turf. Kurtis Rourke (born October 25, 2000) is a Canadian American football quarterback who will play for the Indiana Hoosiers. He previously played for the Ohio Bobcats football team. College career Ohio Rourke was the starting quarterback for the Ohio Bobcats football team. After redshirting in 2019, he shared time at quarterback with Armani Rogers in 2020 and 2021. The 2023 Georgia State Panthers football team represented Georgia State University as a member of the Sun Belt Conference during the 2023 NCAA Division I FBS football season. Davis William Brin (born February 7, 2000) is an American football quarterback for the Georgia Southern Eagles. He previously played for the Tulsa Golden Hurricane.
