The 2023 Liège–Bastogne–Liège was a Belgian road cycling one-day race that took place on 23 April 2023. It was the 109th edition of Liège–Bastogne–Liège and the 19th event of the 2023 UCI World Tour. It was won by Remco Evenepoel of Soudal Quick-Step for the second year in succession, after a solo attack in the last 40 kilometres. Marc Hirschi (born 24 August 1998) is a Swiss cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career In September 2018 it was announced that he would join from 2019 on a three-year contract, having been a member of in 2018. In the same month, Hirschi won the under-23 road race at the UCI Road World Championships in Innsbruck, Austria. Mattias Skjelmose Jensen (born 26 September 2000) is a Danish professional cyclist who rides for UCI WorldTeam . A promising youth rider, Skjelmose finished in top positions in junior categories of major races, and won the Tour du Pays de Vaud in 2018.
