Tiesj Benoot (born 11 March 1994) is a Belgian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Career Lotto–Soudal (2015–19) Benoot turned professional with the Belgian UCI World Tour team in 2015, after riding for the outfit in 2013 and 2014, and riding some races as a stagiaire in autumn 2014. Benoot made an instant impact in the professional ranks by placing fifth in his first Tour of Flanders. Later in the season he showed his abilities in stage races, finishing second overall behind Greg Van Avermaet at the 2015 Tour of Belgium. He also claimed three top-10 finishes in stages of the Critérium du Dauphiné. Benoot showed climbing ability at the 2017 Critérium du Dauphiné, where he finished 12th overall. 2015 Critérium Du Dauphiné
The 2015 Critérium du Dauphiné was the 67th edition of the Critérium du Dauphiné cycling stage race. The eight-stage race in France began in Ugine on 7 June and concluded in Modane on 14 June, and was the sixteenth of the twenty-eight races in the 2015 UCI World Tour season. The Dauphiné was viewed as a preview for July's Tour de France and a number of the contenders for the general classification of the Tour participated in the race. The first leader of the general classification was 's Peter Kennaugh, who won the opening stage. He lost the race lead to rider Rohan Dennis, whose team won stage three's team time trial. 2020 Liège–Bastogne–Liège
The 2020 Liège–Bastogne–Liège was a Belgian road cycling one-day race that was originally scheduled for 26 April 2020. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was rescheduled to 4 October, and it was the 106th edition of Liège–Bastogne–Liège and part of the 2020 UCI World Tour. The race was won by Primož Roglič in a tumultuous sprint amongst a group of five riders, beating world champion Julian Alaphilippe, who already had put his hands in the air, in a photo finish. Alaphilippe, however, was later relegated to fifth place for hindering Marc Hirschi in the sprint. This moved Hirschi up into second, while 2020 Tour de France winner Tadej Pogačar was moved up into third. Wout van Aert (born 15 September 1994) is a Belgian professional road and cyclo-cross racer who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He won the men's elite race at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in 2016, 2017 and 2018. He joined in March 2019, on a three-year deal after terminating his contract with in 2018. Romain Bardet (born 9 November 1990) is a French professional racing cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . Bardet is known for his climbing and descending abilities, which make him one of the top general classification contenders in Grand Tours. So far in his career, his best results have primarily come on home soil. In road bicycle racing, a Grand Tour is one of the three major European professional cycling stage races: Giro d'Italia, Tour de France, and Vuelta a España. Collectively they are termed the ''Grand Tours'', and all three races are similar in format, being three-week races with daily stages. They have a special status in the UCI regulations: more points for the UCI World Tour are distributed in Grand Tours than in other races, and they are the only stage races allowed to last longer than 14 days.
