Ben Healy (cyclist)
Ben Healy (born 11 September 2000) is an Irish professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . A two time national champion (once each in the road race and time trial), he was selected to compete in the road race at the 2020 UCI Road World Championships. Healy was born in England and has Irish heritage on his father's side. He pledged his allegiance to Ireland as a teenager. Career With early career stage wins in both the Tour de l'Avenir and Baby Giro. He came to international prominence in 2023 after a strong spring classics season with notable podium finishes including winning the 2023 GP Industria & Artigianato di Larciano. With podium finishes in the 2023 Amstel Gold Race, between Tadej Pogačar and Tom Pidcock, and Brabantse Pijl. Tadej Pogačar (; born 21 September 1998) is a Slovenian cyclist who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He won the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Tour de France, winning three different jerseys during each Tour, a feat unseen in nearly four decades. In 2019, he became the youngest cyclist to win a UCI World Tour race with the Tour of California win at the age of 20. Later in the year, in his debut Grand Tour, Pogačar won three stages of the Vuelta a España en route to an overall third-place finish and the young rider title. Junior Tour Of Wales
The Junior Tour of Wales is an annual cycle race for junior male riders, held around Brynmawr, Blaenau Gwent, Wales. First held in 1981, the race is the final round of the British Cycling Junior Road Series – and as such attracts the best junior racing cyclists from across the UK, as well as elite international junior teams from across Europe and beyond. From 1981 until 1993 the race consisted of three stages held over two days. In 1993 it was expanded to three days and held on the August Bank Holiday for the first time. In 2017 it switched to a four-day format. In recent years the race's final stage has finished on the Tumble: this climb often decides the winner of the race.
