2023 Le Mans Cup
The 2023 Le Mans Cup, known as the 2023 Michelin Le Mans Cup under sponsorship, was the eighth season of the Le Mans Cup. The six-event season began at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 22 April and finished at Algarve International Circuit on 22 October. The series is open to Le Mans Prototypes in the LMP3 class, and grand tourer sports cars in the GT3 class. Calendar The provisional calendar for the 2023 season was announced on 22 September 2022. On the 11th of April it was announced the 4 Hours of Imola would be postponed due to ongoing works on the pit lane and paddock areas. On the 14th of April it was announced that Imola round would be cancelled and Aragón round would be added. Entries LMP3 All cars in the LMP3 class used the 2020 spec Nissan VK56DE 5.6L V8 engine and Michelin tyres. 2023 European Le Mans Series
The 2023 European Le Mans Series will be the twentieth season of the Automobile Club de l'Ouest's (ACO) European Le Mans Series. The six-event season will begin at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on 23 April and will finish at Algarve International Circuit on 22 October. The series is open to Le Mans Prototypes, divided into the LMP2 and LMP3 classes, and grand tourer-style racing cars in the LMGTE class. The season will be the last for the LMGTE class. MotorLand Aragón was added to the calendar for the first time, replacing the round at Monza, which left after serving as a late replacement for the Hungaroring during the 2022 season. MotorLand Aragón
MotorLand Aragón (alternative Spanish name: Circuito de Alcañiz) is a race track used for motorsports located in Alcañiz, Spain. The circuit was designed by German architect Hermann Tilke in conjunction with the British architectural business Foster and Partners. Formula One driver Pedro de la Rosa was a technical and sporting consultant on the project. The facility has been designed to incorporate three main zones – a technology park, a sports area and a leisure and culture area. The technology park will feature research and educational institutes related to the motor industry, the sports area will include the racing circuit (with multiple layouts), a karting track and various gravel circuits, whilst the leisure and culture section will feature a hotel, business centre and shopping facilities. Ligier JS P320
The Ligier JS P320 is an LMP3 Le Mans Prototype. It was created by Onroak Automotive, and named in partnership with former French driver Guy Ligier. It was built to meet ACO Generation II LMP3 standards, and can be built through an update kit for its predecessor, the Ligier JS P3. The car is set to be eligible in a series of Championships worldwide, such as the Michelin Le Mans Cup, Prototype Cup Germany, Asian Le Mans Series, European Le Mans Series, IMSA Prototype Challenge and IMSA SportsCar Championship. The Autodromo Internazionale Enzo e Dino Ferrari, better known as Imola, is a motor racing circuit in the town of Imola, in the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy, east of Bologna.
