2023 Copa Constitució
The 2023 Copa Constitució was the 31st edition of the Andorran national football knockout tournament. The opening round of this edition of the cup was played on 15 January 2023. Atlètic Club d'Escaldes were the defending champions after winning the previous final over UE Extremenya by a score of 4–1. Schedule First round Twelve clubs competed in the first round. The matches were played on 15 January 2023. Quarter–finals Eight clubs competed in the quarter–finals: the six winners from the first round and two clubs receiving a bye. Semi–finals The four quarter–final winners competed in the semi–finals. Final The final was played between the winners of the semi-finals on 28 May 2023. FC Encamp
FC Encamp is an Andorran football club based in Encamp. Founded in 1950, it is the oldest football club of the Andorran First Division. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History FC Encamp was founded in 1950 being the dean of the Andorran premier league and the second football club created in the pyrenean country of Andorra after FC Andorra (founded in 1942). Successfully the team won the Primera Divisió in the 1995–96 season, and five years later their second league title (2001–02) qualifying for the UEFA Cup. Next season they ended the regular league in the 2nd position being able to play in the UEFA Intertoto Cup. Although for the 2004/05 season they were relegated to Segona Divisió, the 2nd best division. In 2005–06, they were promoted back to the Primera Divisió. The 2022–23 Primera Divisió was the 28th season of top-tier football in Andorra. The season began on 11 September 2022. The league champion qualified to compete in the 2023–24 UEFA Champions League. Estadi Nacional
The Estadi Nacional is a stadium located in Andorra la Vella. It is the national stadium of Andorra, and is used for association football and rugby union. It has a capacity of 3,306, and the pitch is made of artificial turf. History The stadium was built at the former ground of the Camp d'Esports del M.I. Consell General. Construction started in 2013 and finished in 2014. The stadium is the home of the Andorra national football team and the Andorra national rugby union team. Eloy Gila Marín (born 21 June 1988) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Andorran club FC Santa Coloma. Club career Born in Sabadell, Barcelona, Catalonia, Gila made his professional debut with UDA Gramenet in the Segunda División B, after playing two years with the reserves. In 2010 he signed with another club in his native region, Gimnàstic de Tarragona of Segunda División, initially as part of the farm team, CF Pobla de Mafumet. FC Rànger's
FC Rànger's is an Andorran football club based in Andorra la Vella. The team currently plays in Segona Divisió. History The club was founded in 1981, but they only started playing in Andorran leagues in 1999. FC Rànger's aren't associated with Glasgow Rangers. After two years in the Andorran Second Division, they played for the first time in the Campionat de Lliga in the 2001–02 season. After the promotion, FC Rànger's started a growing career, and after finishing second in 2005, they won the league title the two subsequent years, 2006 and 2007. FC Ordino
Futbol Club Ordino is an Andorran football club based in Ordino. The club currently plays in Primera Divisió. History Founded in 2010 as a football academy, FC Ordino currently plays the Primera Divisió, after it was admitted by the clubs of the league in 2012. Fútbol Club Penya d'Andorra is an Andorran football team, based in Andorra La Vella. The team currently plays in the Primera Divisió. History FC Penya d'Andorra, formerly known as Associació Club Penya Encarnada d'Andorra, was founded in 2009 as a cultural association for the promotion of football and sport in the parish of Andorra la Vella in defense of the name and honor of the House of Benfica.
