2023 ADAC GT Masters
The 2023 ADAC GT Masters is the seventeenth season of the ADAC GT Masters, the grand tourer-style sports car racing series founded by the German automobile club ADAC. Prior to the season, the ADAC had initially confirmed that the series was set to pivot to a new formula. Dubbed DTM Endurance, the championship would become a support series for the DTM and feature both GT3 and LMP3 machinery, merging with the Prototype Cup Germany. The series was also set to forbid the presence of FIA Platinum-ranked drivers. While these plans were scrapped following backlash from teams, the series would require teams to field an FIA Silver or Bronze-rated driver in each driver lineup. 2023 ADAC GT4 Germany
The 2023 ADAC GT4 Germany season was the fifth season of ADAC GT4 Germany, a sports car championship created and organised by the ADAC. The season started on 27 May at Oschersleben and finished on 22 October at the Hockenheimring. Mike David Ortmann and Hugo Sasse became the first drivers to win multiple ADAC GT4 Germany titles and first to successfully defend an ADAC GT4 Germany title, scoring four race wins and wrapping up the championship at the penultimate race of the season. Nürburgring
The is a 150,000 person capacity motorsports complex located in the town of Nürburg, Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It features a Formula One, Grand Prix race track built in 1984, and a long "North loop" track, built in the 1920s, around the village and medieval castle of Nürburg in the Eifel mountains. Maximilian Götz
Maximilian Götz (born 4 February 1986) is a German racing driver. He has competed in such series as International Formula Master and the Formula 3 Euro Series. He won the 2003 Formula BMW ADAC season, taking six victories. He also won the 2021 Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters by finishing three points ahead of Liam Lawson in the drivers' championship. Arjun Maini
Arjun Maini (born 10 December 1997) is an Indian professional racing driver, currently competing in the DTM. He has previously also competed in FIA Formula 2 Championship with Trident Racing, as well as Campos Racing. Early life Maini comes from a family of racers. His brother Kush is also a racer competing in the FIA Formula 3 Championship with MP Motorsport, and his father, Gautam, raced in the National Racing Championship in the late 1990s, at the Formula India Single Seater Maruti Engine. Răzvan Umbrărescu
Răzvan Petru Umbrărescu (born 30 June 1993) is a Romanian racing driver competing in the 2023 ADAC GT Masters for Haupt Racing Team. Career Umbrărescu started his car racing career in 2016 by competing some races of the Renault Clio Cup for the Certainty Racing Team. In 2017 he joined the German RN Vision STS team to compete in the GT4 European Series Northern Cup with Gabriele Piana and Hendrik Still as his teammates. He took four class victories and became vice-champion in the Pro-Am classification. In 2018 he remained with the team to contest the GT4 European Series with Gabriele Piana as his teammate. He took his first overall win in the series at the Misano World Circuit. The pair of Piana and Umbrărescu finished the season as seventh in the Silver Cup. Ralf Aron (born 21 March 1998) is an Estonian former racing driver, who competed in the Italian F4 Championship, ADAC Formula 4 and European Formula 3 championships for Prema Powerteam and Hitech GP. Mercedes-AMG GT
The Mercedes-AMG GT (C190 / R190) is a grand tourer produced in coupé and roadster bodystyles by German automobile manufacturer Mercedes-AMG. The car was introduced on and was officially unveiled to the public in October 2014 at the Paris Motor Show. After the SLS AMG, it is the second sports car developed entirely in-house by Mercedes-AMG. The Mercedes-AMG GT went on sale in two variants (GT and GT S) in March 2015, while a GT3 racing variant of the car was introduced in 2015. A high performance variant called the GT R was introduced in 2016. A GT4 racing variant, targeted at semi-professional drivers and based on the GT R variant, was introduced in 2017. Spielberg (formerly: Spielberg bei Knittelfeld) is a city located in the Bezirk Murtal in Styria, Austria. The Red Bull Ring is a motorsport race track in Spielberg, Styria, Austria. The race circuit was founded as Österreichring (translation: Austrian Circuit) and hosted the Austrian Grand Prix for 18 consecutive years, from to . It was later shortened, rebuilt and renamed the A1-Ring (A Eins-Ring), and it hosted the Austrian Grand Prix again from to . When Formula One outgrew the circuit, a plan was drawn up to extend the layout. Hohenstein-Ernstthal () is a town in the Zwickau rural district, Saxony, Germany. The towns of Hohenstein and Ernstthal were united in 1898, and the town is either known by its hyphenated form, or simply called Hohenstein.
