Indian State Leagues
State football leagues in India represent the top state-level of the Indian football league system. There are currently a total of 37 state associations affiliated with the national governing body, the All India Football Federation. Most of the state associations organise and have own affiliated football competitions in their respective states. The state leagues operate as a system of promotion and relegation with the I-League 2, Indian Women's League, Futsal Club Championship and lower state leagues. Clubs of top national leagues (Indian Super League and I-League) also participate in their respective state leagues, most often with youth or reserve teams. Sikkim Aakraman Sporting Club is an Indian professional football club based in Gangtok, Sikkim, that competes in Sikkim Premier Division League, the top football division in Sikkim and Sikkim Premier League, the franchise league in Sikkim. It is part of the multi-sports club Sikkim Aakraman Sporting Club. Founded in 2010, The club won the inaugural edition of the Sikkim Premier League in 2023. Sikkim
Sikkim (; ) is a state in Northeastern India. The Mizoram Premier League (also known as the Zote Honda Mizoram Premier League for sponsorship ties) is the highest state-level football league in Mizoram, India. Mizoram
Mizoram () is a state in Northeast India, with Aizawl as its seat of government and capital city. The name of the state is derived from "Mizo people, Mizo", the endonym, self-described name of the native inhabitants, and "Ram", which in the Mizo language means "land."
