2022–23 Basketball Bundesliga
The 2022–23 Basketball Bundesliga, known as the easyCredit BBL for sponsorship reasons, is the 57th season of the Basketball Bundesliga (BBL), the top-tier level of professional club basketball in Germany. It will run from 28 September 2022 to 20 June 2023. In October 2022, the BBL decided to change the standings formula, moving away from two points for a win to a percentage crteria. Teams Team changes As only one team was promoted, Frankfurt was awarded a wild card on 2 June 2022. Brose Arena (official spelling: brose ARENA) is the third largest multi-functional indoor arena in Bavaria, after the Olympic Hall in Munich, and the Arena Nürnberger Versicherung, in Nuremberg. History The rights relating to the name of the arena, built in 2001, and previously known as Forum Bamberg, were sold to JAKO (a manufacturer of team sports clothing) in March 2006. The JobStairs GIESSEN 46ers (formerly GIESSEN 46ers) is a professional basketball club based in Gießen, Germany, that plays in the Basketball Bundesliga. Proas are various types of multi-hull outrigger sailboats of the Austronesian peoples. The terms were used for native Austronesian ships in European records during the Colonial era indiscriminately, and thus can confusingly refer to the double-ended single-outrigger boats of Oceania, the double-outrigger boats of Island Southeast Asia, and sometimes ships with no outriggers or sails at all.
