Women's Rugby League European Championship
The Women's Rugby League European Championship is an international rugby league football tournament for European national teams first held in 2022. History The creation of Women's Rugby League European Championships was announced by the ERL in May 2022 with the inaugural edition taking place between June and October the same year, 87 years after the creation of the men's version of the tournament. The tournament would consist of an A and B league with promotion and relegation between them, as the men's tournament has done since 2020. The inaugural edition however, did not feature an A league as A tier countries were competing is the 2021 Women's Rugby League World Cup delayed to 2022 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wales Rugby League
Wales Rugby League is the national governing body for rugby league football in Wales. In 1907 The Welsh Northern Rugby Football Union was formed in Wrexham, but the English Northern Rugby Football Union refused it affiliation as they wanted the body located in the south of Wales and the Welsh body soon folded. Greek Rugby League Association
The Greek Rugby League Federation (GRLF), formerly Greek Rugby League Association (GRLA), has been governing body for the sport of rugby league football in Greece since 2017. Officially eecognised as Federation from the Greek Ministry of Sports in August 2022. History The GRLA was formed in 2017 following the expulsion of the Hellenic Federation of Rugby League from the Rugby League European Federation (now European Rugby League) the previous year. The body was accorded observer status with the RLEF in March 2017, and affiliate status in March 2018. In August 2022 the GRLA was finally recognised as the official body for the sport from the Greek state and received the national federation status. Malahide RFC
Malahide RFC is an Irish rugby club based in Malahide, Fingal County, playing in Division 2B of the All-Ireland League. The club was founded in 1922 but disbanded in 1944 because of a lack of members during World War II. The club was reformed in 1978 and in 2006 the club moved into its new grounds on Estuary Road.
