2022 Eschborn–Frankfurt
The 2022 Eschborn–Frankfurt was a road bicycle racing, road cycling Classic cycle races, one-day race that took place on 1 May 2022 in the Frankfurt Rhein-Main Regional Authority, Frankfurt Rhein-Main metro area in southwest Germany. It was the 61st edition of Eschborn–Frankfurt, but only the 59th to be held, and the 19th event of the 2022 UCI World Tour. The race was won by Sam Bennett (cyclist), Sam Bennett () in a bunch sprint after the break was caught with 42km to go. Teams 11 of the 18 UCI WorldTeams and eight UCI Professional Continental, UCI ProTeams made up the nineteen teams that participated in the race. and , with six riders, were the only teams to not enter a full squad of seven riders. 2022 UCI World Tour
The 2022 UCI World Tour was a series of races that included thirty-one road bicycle racing, road cycling events throughout the 2022 in men's road cycling, 2022 cycling season. The tour started with the 2022 UAE Tour, UAE Tour on 20 February, and concluded with the 2022 Il Lombardia, Il Lombardia on 8 October. Events The 2022 calendar was announced in the autumn of 2021. Cancelled events Due to COVID-19 pandemic, COVID-19-related logistical concerns raised by teams regarding travel to Australia (including strict quarantine requirements), the Tour Down Under (18–23 January) and the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race (30 January) were cancelled. On 8 June 2022, the Benelux Tour (29 August – 4 September) was cancelled due to a pressurised calendar. Jasper Philipsen
Jasper Philipsen (born 2 March 1998) is a Belgian professional cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career In July 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Tour de France. In October 2020, he was named in the startlist for the 2020 Vuelta a España, where he won stage 15. He participated in his second Tour de France in 2021 and while he did not win any stages he had many promising results including finishing on the stage podium a half dozen times. He rode in the 2021 Vuelta a España where he won two stages. John Degenkolb
John Degenkolb (born 7 January 1989) is a German professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . His biggest wins to date are the 2015 Milan–San Remo and the 2015 Paris–Roubaix, two of cycling's five monuments.
