Phil Bauhaus
Phil Bauhaus (born 8 July 1994 in Bocholt) is a German cyclist, who currently rides for UCI WorldTeam . He was named in the start list for the 2017 Giro d'Italia. In August 2018 it was confirmed that Bauhaus would join for the 2019 season on an initial one-year contract. In August 2019, he was named in the startlist for the 2019 Vuelta a España. Scheldeprijs
The Scheldeprijs is a cycling race in Flanders and the Netherlands which starts in Terneuzen, crosses the Scheldt River, and finishes in Schoten. Until 2018 it was held entirely in Belgium. The event, ranked as a 1.HC race on the UCI Europe Tour, features mostly sprinters on its roll of honour, as it is held on all-flat roads over roughly 200 kilometres. First held in 1907, it is the oldest still-existing cycling event in Flanders, notably six years older than the Tour of Flanders '' monument race''. 2016 UCI Road World Championships
The 2016 UCI Road World Championships took place in Doha, Qatar, in October 2016. The championships was moved from the traditional September to October to avoid extreme hot and blustery weather. The event consisted of a road race, a team time trial and a time trial for elite men and women and a road race and a time trial for men under-23, junior men and junior women. It was the 89th Road World Championships and the first time that Qatar and the Middle East hosted the championships. Bidding Qatar was announced as the host during the 2012 UCI Road World Championships in the Netherlands. Norway also made a bid but was unsuccessful. The 2016 Tour d'Azerbaïdjan was a five-day cycling stage race that took place in Azerbaijan in May 2016. The race is the fifth edition of the Tour d'Azerbaïdjan. It was rated as a 2.1 event as part of the 2016 UCI Europe Tour. The race included five stages, starting in Baku on 4 May and returning there for the finish on 8 May. The race was won by Markus Eibegger (). He finished the race 2 seconds ahead of Rinaldo Nocentini (), with Nikita Stalnov () third.
