2022 Chilean Primera División
The 2022 Chilean Primera División, known as Campeonato PlanVital 2022 for sponsorship purposes, is the 92nd season of the Chilean Primera División, Chile's top-flight football league. The season began on 4 February 2022 and is scheduled to end on 6 November 2022. Colo-Colo clinched their thirty-third league title with two matches to go, after winning 2–0 against Coquimbo Unido on 23 October 2022. Universidad Católica were the defending champions. Teams 16 teams take part in the league in this season, down by one from the previous season: the top 14 teams from the 2021 tournament, plus the 2021 Primera B champions Coquimbo Unido and the winners of the promotion/relegation play-off Huachipato. The promoted teams replaced Santiago Wanderers, who were relegated to Primera B at the end of the 2021 season, and Deportes Melipilla, who had six points deducted from their 2021 campaign on 13 January 2022 and were also relegated. The Chilean Primera División (English: First Division) is the top-tier league of the Chilean football league system. It is organized by the '' ANFP''. The league is known as the Campeonato AFP PlanVital for sponsorship reasons. Format As of the 2018 season, 16 teams compete in the league, playing against each other two times, home and away. Relegation and promotion Currently, the two teams with the worst scores in the season, are relegated to Primera B, and replaced by the Champions and Runners-up of this Division. The 2021 Primera B de Chile, also known as Campeonato Ascenso Betsson 2021 for sponsorship purposes, was the 67th season of the Primera B de Chile, Chile's second-tier football league. The season started on 3 April 2021. Coquimbo Unido were the champions, winning their fourth title in the competition as well as clinching promotion to Primera División with a 2–1 victory over Fernandez Vial on 13 November, the last matchday of the regular season. Format The tournament was played by 16 teams, 12 returning from the previous season, three relegated from Campeonato Nacional (Coquimbo Unido, Deportes Iquique and Universidad de Concepción), and the Segunda División Profesional champions. Macul
Macul ( Quechua: "to stretch out right hand") is a commune (smallest administrative subdivision in Chile) of Chile located in the central-eastern part of the Greater Santiago area, bordered by the communes of Ñuñoa to the north, San Joaquín to the west, Peñalolén to the east and La Florida to the south. Estadio Bicentenario Municipal de La Florida is a multi-purpose stadium, located in La Florida, in eastern Santiago, Chile. It is the home stadium of Chilean football team Audax Italiano. The stadium was built in 1986 and rebuilt in 2008. The stadium also hosts a variety of events such as summer theatre festivals and music concerts, such as the KISS concert in early 2009.
