2021 World Table Tennis Championships – Mixed Doubles
The mixed doubles competition of the 2021 World Table Tennis Championships was held from 23 to 28 November 2021. Xu Xin and Liu Shiwen were the defending champions, but neither competed this year. Wang Chuqin and Sun Yingsha won the title after defeating Tomokazu Harimoto and Hina Hayata 11–2, 11–5, 11–8. Seeds Seeding was based on the ITTF world ranking published on 16 November 2021. Xu Xin (; born 8 January 1990) is a Chinese professional table tennis player who is currently ranked world No. 108 as of December 2022 for men's singles by the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF). He first reached his career-high singles ranking of world No. 1 in January 2013. He has won 17 World Tour Singles titles and has won the World Championships in men's doubles thrice, mixed doubles twice, and five times in the team event. In addition, Xu Xin along with Ma Long and Zhang Jike won the men's team gold medal at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro. Doo Hoi Kem (; born 27 November 1996) is a Hong Kong table tennis player. She won two medals at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympics and she was a member of Hong Kong women's team at the 2014 World Team Championships. In 2015, she won a bronze medal in mixed doubles event with Wong Chun Ting at the World Championships.
