Ovidiu Ionescu
Ovidiu George Ionescu (born 28 June 1989) is a Romanian professional table tennis player who plays with Post SV Mühlhausen and SCM Gloria Buzău. Career Ionescu competed at the 2016 Summer Olympics in the singles event, in which he was eliminated in the third round by Marcos Freitas. In September 2018, Ionescu reached his first European Championships final but lost to No.1 seed Timo Boll. He defeated holder of the continental title Emmanuel Lebesson in the second round, 6th seed Jonathan Groth in the round of 16, 9th seed Vladimir Samsonov in the quarterfinals and 8th seed Kristian Karlsson in the semi-finals. Buzău
The city of Buzău (formerly spelled ''Buzeu'' or ''Buzĕu''; ) is the county seat of Buzău County, Romania, in the historical region of Muntenia. Bernadette Cynthia Szőcs ( hu, Szőcs Bernadette Cynthia; born 5 March 1995) is a professional table tennis player from Romania who is currently at a career World Table Tennis (ITTF) high ranking of No. 11. Career In September 2011, she travelled to Argentina for the World Junior Circuit event where she overtook Kasumi Ishikawa to reach the top spot in the competition series. In July 2012, she was ranked 5th in the ITTF World Junior Circuit. Szőcs won the singles event in the inaugural season of T2, beating Feng Tianwei in the final. Kristian Gunnar Karlsson (; born 6 August 1991) is a Swedish professional table tennis player. Career Born in Trollhättan, Västra Götaland, Karlsson started to play table tennis in his hometown club at the age of 8. He remained in Trollhättan until he was 16, subsequently he moved away from home to go to high school. During his high school years Karlsson had 10 training sessions a week.
