The 2021 ARCA Menards Series West was the sixty-eighth season of the ARCA Menards Series West, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR in the United States. The season began at Phoenix Raceway with the General Tire 150 and ended with another race at Phoenix Raceway, the Arizona Lottery 100, on November 6. The ARCA Menards Series West, formerly the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, NASCAR AutoZone West Series, NASCAR Winston West Series and NASCAR Camping World West Series, is a regional stock car racing series owned and operated by the Automobile Racing Club of America (ARCA) and the National Association for Stock Car Auto Racing (NASCAR). The series was first formed in 1954 as a proving ground for drivers from the western United States who could not travel to race in the more traditional stock car racing regions like North Carolina and the rest of the southern United States. In 1954, the series was formed under the name Pacific Coast Late Model circuit, with nine races on the schedule. At first the series sanctioned races on dirt tracks and paved tracks, but as the series developed, more races were held on paved tracks, with the final race on a dirt track being held in 1979 until the series returned to dirt in 2018. Trevor Huddleston (born May 31, 1996) is an American stock car racing driver who competes full-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 50 Ford for his family-owned team High Point Racing. Racing career Huddleston started his career in bandolero racing in 2008. After racing in the Sportsman class at Irwindale Speedway in 2011, Huddleston raced late models at Madera Speedway in 2014. Throughout his career, he has raced for High Point Racing, which his father owns. The following year, Huddleston claimed his first Irwindale track championship, winning five late model races. For the 2016 season, Huddleston raced almost exclusively at Irwindale Speedway, winning ten races. Nicholas Joanides (born June 17, 1970) is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 77 Toyota for Performance P-1 Motorsports. He has also competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series (when it was the Nationwide Series), ARCA Menards Series East (when it was the NASCAR Busch East Series), and the now-defunct AutoZone Elite Division Southwest & Midwest Series in the past. David M. Smith (born February 19, 1967) is an American professional racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, driving the No. 52 Chevrolet Camaro for Jimmy Means Racing.
