2020–21 Basketball Championship Of Bosnia And Herzegovina
The 2020–21 Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina was the 20th season of this championship, with 14 teams from Bosnia and Herzegovina participating in it. Igokea was the defending champion. Competition format Thirteen of fourteen teams joined the regular season, played with as double round-robin tournament. At the end of regular season the last three teams would be relegated, while the first five teams would join "Liga 6" along with KK Igokea. First four teams in "Liga 6" would compete in playoff tournament, with one-leg (semifinals, third place and final) matches. In mid-season, however, it was decided that only the last team will be relegated. Also, playoff semifinal and final will be played in best of three and best of five format, respectively. KK Zenica Čelik (a.k.a. ''Omladinski košarkaški klub Čelik'') is a Bosnian basketball team that competes in the Basketball Championship of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Formed in 1946, Zenica Čelik was champion of the Yugoslav second division (1. liga B) three times and played many years in the prestigious Yugoslav First Basketball League. At that time, first Yugoslav League was considered the best basketball league in Europe and the second best in the world, behind the NBA. In 1999, Zenica Čelik merged with Zenica Metalno. Mrkonjić Grad
Mrkonjić Grad ( sr-cyrl, Мркоњић Град, ) is a town and municipality located in the western part of Republika Srpska, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located in the region of Bosanska Krajina, between Banja Luka and Jajce. As of 2013, the municipality has a population of 16,671 inhabitants, while the town of Mrkonjić Grad has a population of 7,915 inhabitants. Trebinje ( sr-Cyrl, Требиње, ) is a city and municipality located in the Republika Srpska entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Kakanj ( sr-cyrl, Какањ) is a town and municipality located in Zenica-Doboj Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Čapljina ( sr-cyrl, Чапљина, ) is a city located in Herzegovina-Neretva Canton of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Bratunac ( sr-cyrl, Братунац) is a town and municipality located in easternmost part of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013 census, it has a population of 20,340 inhabitants, while the town of Bratunac has a population of 8,359 inhabitants.
