2019–20 Eredivisie (women)
The 2019–20 Eredivisie Vrouwen is the tenth season of the Netherlands women's professional football league. The season lasts from 23 August 2019 to 22 May 2020 with eight teams. Twente started the season as defending champion. Effects of the COVID-19 pandemic On 12 March 2020, all football leagues were suspended until 31 March as the Dutch government forbade events due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands. On 15 March, this period was extended until 6 April. Due to the decision of the Dutch government to forbid all gatherings and events until 1 June 2020, this period was even further extended. The Dutch government announced on 21 April that all events, subject to authorization, would remain forbidden until 1 September 2020. As a result, the KNVB announced the same day the intention not to continue all remaining suspended competitions. 2019–20 Eredivisie
The 2019–20 Eredivisie was the 64th season of the Dutch football league Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 2 August 2019 and was suspended on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands. The season was abandoned on 24 April. Ajax were the defending champion. Twente, RKC Waalwijk, and Sparta Rotterdam joined as the promoted clubs from the 2018–19 Eerste Divisie. They replaced NAC Breda, Excelsior, and De Graafschap who were relegated to the 2019–20 Eerste Divisie. SC Heerenveen (women)
SC Heerenveen Vrouwen is a Dutch women's football (soccer) club based in Heerenveen representing SC Heerenveen in the Vrouwen Eredivisie, the top women's league in the Netherlands. Founded in 2007, Heerenveen was a founding member of the Vrouwen Eredivisie. After finishing last in 2008 and 2010 and second-to-last in 2009, in 2011 it attained its best result yet, finishing 4th and reaching the national cup final, lost against AZ Alkmaar. In April 2011 the club announced the women's team would be disbanded following the end of the season, but it subsequently cancelled the decision. The following season Heerenveen returned to the bottom of the table, ending last. In the 2012–13 season, Heerenveen moved in the newly founded BeNe League. Behnam Afas (born 17 July 1934) is an Iraqi-New Zealander author and researcher. His studies are mostly in the role of the Christian scholars and missionaries, their effect on the renaissance of Iraq during the 19th century and the early 20th century. Heerhugowaard (; West Frisian Dutch: ''Heerhugoweard'', ''Heregeweard'' or ''De Weard'') is a city in the Netherlands, in the province of North Holland and the region of West Friesland. Heerhugowaard was previously a municipality, which merged with the former municipality of Langedijk into the new municipality of Dijk en Waard on 1 January 2022.
