2019 Speedway Grand Prix Of Sweden
The 2019 Norrbil Swedish FIM Speedway Grand Prix was the fourth race of the 2019 Speedway Grand Prix season. It took place on July 6 at the HZ Bygg Arena in Hallstavik, Sweden. Riders First reserve Robert Lambert replaced the injured world champion Tai Woffinden, while second reserve Max Fricke replaced Greg Hancock. The Speedway Grand Prix Commission nominated Oliver Berntzon as the wild card, and Pontus Aspgren and Kim Nilsson both as Track Reserves. Results The Grand Prix was won by Emil Sayfutdinov, who beat Martin Vaculík, Maciej Janowski and Max Fricke in the final. It was the seventh win of Sayfutdinov's career, but his first since 2013. The win also saw him move to the joint-lead of the overall standings, tied on 47 points with Patryk Dudek and Leon Madsen, who both failed to make the semi-finals. Hallstavik
Hallstavik is a locality situated in Norrtälje Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden with 4,476 inhabitants in 2010. The town is famous for its papermill and the Speedway team Rospiggarna. Leon Madsen (born 5 September 1988) is a Danish speedway rider who is twice a World Championship silver medalist. Career Born in Vejle, Madsen won the 80cc junior World Championship in 2001. In 2018 and 2022, Madsen won the Individual Speedway European Championship. Antonio Lindbäck (born 5 May 1985 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) is a former international motorcycle speedway rider who competed in the Speedway World Championship, finishing eighth in 2016, and was a member of the Swedish team who won the Speedway World Cup in 2004 and 2015. Bartosz Zmarzlik (; born 12 April 1995) is a Polish motorcycle speedway rider and three-time World Champion (2019, 2020 and 2022). He has been decorated with the Order of Polonia Restituta, V class. Jan Fredrik Tobias (Freddie) Lindgren (born 15 September 1985) is a Swedish motorcycle speedway rider. He has twice won the bronze medal at the Speedway World Championship and won the world team championships in 2015. Career Born in Örebro, Sweden. Lindgren's father Tommy was a speedway rider before him, and his younger brother Ludvig also rides. Lindgren first appeared for Wolverhampton Wolves during the 2003 season as the team struggled with injuries. Matej Žagar (born 3 April 1983 in Ljubljana, Slovenia) is a Slovenian motorcycle speedway rider who was won two Individual Speedway European Champion titles in 2004 and 2008.
