2019 Speedway European Championship
The 2019 Speedway European Championship season was the seventh season of the Speedway European Championship (SEC) era, and the 19th UEM Individual Speedway European Championship. It was the sixth series under the promotion of One Sport Lts. of Poland. The championship was won by Mikkel Michelsen, who beat Grigory Laguta in a run-off after both riders had finished the series tied on 45 points. Defending champion Leon Madsen, who missed one round through injury, also won a run-off with Kacper Woryna to finish third, while Bartosz Smektała completed the top five. Qualification For the 2019 season, 15 permanent riders were joined at each SEC Final by one wildcard and two track reserves. Mikkel Michelsen (born 19 August 1994) is a Danish speedway rider. David Bellego (born 15 May 1993 in Marmande) is a French motorcycle speedway rider, who competes in Grasstrack, Longtrack and Speedway. He is four times champion of France. Speedway career International In 2012, he was part of the French team that won the bronze medal at the 2012 Team Long Track World Championship. Six years later he became a world champion after scoring 12 points as part of the winning team for 2018 Team Long Track World Championship. Kevin Wölbert
Kevin Wölbert (born 14 June 1989) is a German speedway rider who has won Individual German Champion title in 2008. Career history When Max Dilger was injured, Wölbert was nominated as second track reserve at the 2008 German Grand Prix. But, after re-staged this event in Bydgoszcz, Poland (as the Final Grand Prix), Wölbert was replaced by Pole Grzegorz Zengota. Due to having Polish roots through his grandmother, Wölbert has been interest of Polish citizenship. He applied for citizenship in November 2009 in Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship Office in Bydgoszcz. His application was support by President of Grudziądz Robert Malinowski and a GTŻ Grudziądz, his Polish team. His application will be consider by the President of the Republic of Poland. Peter Kildemand
Peter Kildemand (born 1 September 1989) is a motorcycle speedway rider from Denmark. Career He is a member of the Danish national team. He was a member of the Swindon Robins Elite League Championship winning side of 2012 and was named "Rider of the Year" for the club at the end of the season. Kildemand was also part of the Fjelsted team that won the 2017 Danish Speedway League. He was captain of Västervik Speedway team in 2018. In 2022, he signed for King's Lynn Stars but was unable to race for them after sustaining a pre season injury. Speedway career Drabik won the gold medal at the World Under-21 Championship in the 2017 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship and the 2019 Individual Speedway Junior World Championship. Speedway career Lyager joined Scunthorpe Scorpions for the 2015 Premier League speedway season and 2016 Premier League speedway season. Timo Lahti (born 16 July 1992) is a speedway rider from Finland. Career Lahti started his British career riding for the Eastbourne Eagles in 2011.
