Andžejs Ļebedevs (born 4 November 1994) is a Latvian speedway rider. Career Ļebedevs finished in 16th place during the 2022 Speedway World Championship, after securing 26 points during the 2022 Speedway Grand Prix. He was selected as a reserve for the 2023 Speedway Grand Prix. Also in 2022, he helped Wilki Krosno win the 2022 1.Liga. Smederna
Smederna is a motorcycle speedway club based in Eskilstuna, Sweden. The club competes in the highest speedway league in Sweden called the Elitserien and race its home matches at Smedstadion outside Eskilstuna. Ikaros Smederna was formerly known as just Smederna but after making a sponsorship deal with company Ikaros in the fall of 2008 the club changed its name. However, this did not have the wanted effect on the club economy and in July 2009 the club went bankrupt and withdrew from Elitserien to restart in Division 1. Smederna has won six Swedish Speedway Team Championships, in 1973, 1977, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2022, and were the home club of three individual world champions, Billy Hamill, Mark Loram and Nicki Pedersen. Individual Speedway Junior World Championship
The Speedway Under-21 World Championship is an annual speedway event held each year organized by the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) since 1977. As of 2022, the title was awarded to the winner of the SGP2 category at the FIM Speedway World Championship. In 1979, the Championship allowed riders from other continents to compete, but was renamed to the Speedway World Under 21 Championship in 1988. King's Lynn Stars
King's Lynn Stars are a motorcycle speedway team who compete in the SGB Premiership. The nickname "Stars" comes from the defunct Norwich Stars team. The team was founded in 1965 and has been running continually since then, except for 1996 when King's Lynn failed to have a team competing in the British league system. History 1966–1995 The team's inaugural season was the 1966 British League season, where they finished 16th. They managed to finish in third place during the 1972 and 1973 seasons with their strongest riders being Terry Betts and Malcolm Simmons. The first silverware won by the team was the Knockout Cup in 1977. They won the final by the small margin of two points on aggregate, thanks largely to Michael Lee and Betts. Masarna Avesta
Masarna are a Swedish motorcycle speedway team based in Avesta (locality), Avesta, Sweden. The club was founded in 1937 as the ''Folkare Motorklubb'' but their first track was not built until 1948. Masarna joined the Swedish second division in 1958 and remained there until gaining promotion to the Elitserien (speedway), Elitserien in 1999. They then won their first Elitserien championship in 2000.
