2019 Seattle Seahawks Season
The 2019 season was the Seattle Seahawks' 44th in the National Football League (NFL) and their 10th under head coach Pete Carroll. It marked their first full season since 1996 without longtime owner Paul Allen, who had died during the 2018 season. For the first time since 2010, Earl Thomas did not play for the Seahawks as he signed with the Baltimore Ravens via free agency during the offseason. Thomas was the last remaining original member of the Legion of Boom defensive secondary. This was also the first time since 2010 without wide receiver Doug Baldwin, as he was released from the team after a failed physical designation, along with strong safety Kam Chancellor. NFC West
The National Football Conference - Western Division or NFC West is one of the four Division (sport), divisions of the National Football Conference (NFC) in the National Football League (NFL). It currently has four members: the Arizona Cardinals, the Los Angeles Rams, the San Francisco 49ers, and the Seattle Seahawks. The division was formed in 1967 as the National Football League Coastal Division, keeping with the theme of having all of the league's divisions starting with the letter "C." 2018 Seattle Seahawks Season
The 2018 season was the Seattle Seahawks' 43rd in the National Football League (NFL) and their ninth under head coach Pete Carroll. The Seahawks improved on their 9–7 record from the 2017 season, finishing 10–6, the sixth time in seven years that they recorded at least ten wins in a season. They also played in London for the first time in franchise history, defeating the Oakland Raiders 27–3 in Week 6. Quandre Diggs
Quandre Diggs (born January 22, 1993) is an American football free safety for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Texas, and was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL Draft. He played his first two years in the NFL as a cornerback before being moved to safety. In 2019, Diggs was traded to the Seahawks. High school career Diggs attended Angleton High School, where he played on the football team. As a member of the Angleton Wildcats, he primarily played cornerback and safety, but occasionally played quarterback on offense. Jadeveon Davarus Clowney ( ; born February 14, 1993) is an American football defensive end for the Cleveland Browns of the National Football League (NFL). Barkevious Levon Mingo (; born October 4, 1990) is an American football outside linebacker who is a free agent. He played college football at Louisiana State (LSU) and was drafted by the Cleveland Browns sixth overall in the 2013 NFL Draft. He won Super Bowl LI with the New England Patriots. Kam Chancellor
Kameron Darnel Chancellor (born April 3, 1988), nicknamed "Bam Bam", is an American former football strong safety who played for the Seattle Seahawks of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Virginia Tech prior to being drafted by the Seahawks in the fifth round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He played college football at Stanford and was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in 2011. Legion Of Boom (Seattle Seahawks)
The Legion of Boom (LOB) was the Seattle Seahawks secondary in the early 2010s. The original group that was nicknamed the Legion of Boom consisted of the main starters in the Seahawks defensive backfield (the cornerback and safety positions): Richard Sherman, Earl Thomas, Kam Chancellor, Brandon Browner, Walter Thurmond and Byron Maxwell. Over time, the nickname grew to encompass the Seahawks defense as a whole, including prominent players such as Bobby Wagner, K. J.
