Jacob ''"Jake"'' Martin (born December 11, 1995) is an American football outside linebacker for the Denver Broncos of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Temple. Martin was a second-team All-American Athletic Conference selection in 2017 and led the Owls in sacks with eight. Professional career Seattle Seahawks Martin was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the sixth round (186th overall) of the 2018 NFL Draft. 2018 NFL Draft
The 2018 NFL Draft was the 83rd annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible players for the 2018 NFL season. The draft was held on April 26–28 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas; it was the first draft to take place in an NFL stadium and the first to be held in Texas. Patrick Lavon Mahomes II (born September 17, 1995) is an American football quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). The son of former Major League Baseball (MLB) pitcher Pat Mahomes, he initially played college football and baseball at Texas Tech. Following his sophomore year, he quit baseball to focus solely on football. Whitney Mercilus (born July 21, 1990) is a former American football linebacker who played in the National Football League (NFL) for 10 seasons, primarily with the Houston Texans. He played college football at Illinois, where he received unanimous All-American honors, and was selected by the Texans in the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
