2019 Portland Timbers Season
The 2019 Portland Timbers season is the 33rd season in their existence and the 9th season for the Portland Timbers in Major League Soccer (MLS), the top-flight professional soccer league in the United States and Canada. The season covers the period from the end of the Timber's last match in MLS or MLS Playoffs in 2018 (December 8, 2018) to their final match in MLS or MLS Playoffs in 2019 (October 19, 2019). Portland Timbers
The Portland Timbers are an American professional men's soccer club based in Portland, Oregon. The Timbers compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference. The Timbers have played their home games at Providence Park since 2011, when the team began play as an expansion team in the league. The club was founded in 2009, when the city of Portland was awarded an expansion berth to Major League Soccer. The United States soccer league system is a series of professional and amateur soccer leagues based, in whole or in part, in the United States. Sometimes called the American soccer pyramid, teams and leagues are not linked by the system of promotion and relegation typical in soccer elsewhere. Instead, the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) defines professional leagues in three levels, called divisions, with all other leagues sanctioned by the USSF not having an official designated level or division. Victor Manuel Arboleda Murillo (born 1 January 1997) is a Colombian footballer who plays for Saudi club Al-Safa. Career Arboleda joined United Soccer League side Portland Timbers 2 on 24 March 2016. Foster Langsdorf
Foster Langsdorf (born December 14, 1995) is an American former professional soccer player. After a very successful collegiate career at Stanford, he played for several teams over the course of five seasons. Most of is appearances were for Portland Timbers 2; he made a total of four appearances for Portland Timbers and Minnesota United of Major League Soccer. Jeremy Edward Nirina Ebobisse Ebolo (born February 14, 1997) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a striker for Major League Soccer club San Jose Earthquakes.
