2019 Liga 2 (Peru)
The 2019 Liga 2 season was the 74th edition of the second tier of Federación Peruana de Futbol. The season play started in April 2019 and ended on 1 December 2019. Before the season, the clubs Deportivo Hualgayoc and Sport Rosario were relegated to the Copa Perú for outstanding debts with the SAFAP. Sport Victoria was disabled mid-season and relegated to the Copa Perú for outstanding debts with the SAFAP. Competition modus The season has two phases: a home-and-away round-robin phase and a liguilla (league). The team with the most points at the end of the first phase will be crowned 2019 Liga 2 champions and will be promoted to the 2020 Liga 1. The teams who finished 2nd through 7th in the round-robin phase qualify to the liguilla which qualifies two teams to the 2019 Peruvian promotion play-offs. Seeds 4 through 7 play each other. Peruvian Segunda División
The Liga 2 (Ligue 2) of Peru is the second-highest division in the Peruvian football league system. It is a professional and promotional division organized by the Peruvian Football Federation. After years of changing numbers of clubs, as of 2021 the league includes 12 clubs. History The format of the Second Division has changed over the years. Copa Perú
The Copa Perú is a football tournament in Peru. Despite its name, it is not entirely an elimination-cup competition involving all Peruvian clubs, but rather a series of league tournaments leading to an elimination tournament, with regional league clubs as participants. It guarantees its winner promotion to the professional Liga 2. History In 1966, the First Division was named '' Descentralizado''; teams from outside the capital of Lima were allowed to participate in the professional first division. Cusco

Club Unión Huaral is a Peruvian football club, from the city of Huaral. It was founded in 1947 and plays in Peru's Segunda División. Comerciantes Unidos is a Peruvian football club from Cutervo, Cajamarca. It plays in the Peruvian Primera División.
