Unión Huaral
Club Unión Huaral is a Peruvian football club, from the city of Huaral. It was founded in 1947 and plays in Peru's Segunda División. History The club was the 1976 and 1989 Peruvian Primera División champion. They were the first club to take the Peruvian title out of the traditional strongholds of Lima and Callao provinces. The club have played at the highest level of Peruvian football on twenty four occasions, from 1974 Torneo Descentralizado until 1991 Torneo Descentralizado, 1993 Torneo Descentralizado, 1995 Torneo Descentralizado, and from 2003 Torneo Descentralizado until 2006 Torneo Descentralizado, when was relegated to the Peruvian Segunda División. In the 2011 Torneo Intermedio, the club was eliminated by Deportivo Municipal in the Round of 16. In 2013, the club had a great campaign in the Copa Perú finishing runner-up. The Liga 2 (Ligue 2) of Peru is the second-highest division in the Peruvian football league system. It is a professional and promotional division organized by the Peruvian Football Federation. After years of changing numbers of clubs, as of 2021 the league includes 12 clubs. History The format of the Second Division has changed over the years. For decades after it was first formed in 1936, only clubs from the Lima Region, Department of Lima participated in the annual tournament. Club Centro Deportivo Municipal, commonly known as Deportivo Municipal, is a Peruvian football club based in Lima, Peru. They are among Peru's most recognizable clubs and enjoy considerable popularity. The bulk of their success was won a few years after the club was founded in 1935. The club was a top-flight contender during this period and won four Primera División titles. The club suffered relegation three times in their history: 1967, 2000, and 2007. The 2013 Copa Perú, Peru Cup season ( es, Copa Perú 2013), the promotion tournament of Peruvian Association football, football, started on February. The tournament has 5 stages. The 1987 Torneo Descentralizado, the top tier of Peruvian football (soccer), was played by 30 teams. The season started in 1987 and ended in early 1988. The national champion was Universitario . The national championship was divided into two tournaments, the Regional Tournament and the Descentralized Tournament. The winners of each tournament faced off in the final and received the berths for the Copa Libertadores 1988.
