The 2019 IBSF World Snooker Championship was an amateur snooker tournament that took place in 2019 in Antalya. The women's tournament was won by Ng On-yee, who defeated Nutcharut Wongharuthai 5–2 in the final. Tournament Details The 2019 IBSF World Snooker Championship was an amateur snooker tournament that was held from 29 October to 9 November 2019 at the Starlight Resort Hotel in Antalya. Qualifying group matches happened from 29 October to 5 November. The top three players from each group qualified for the knockout stage, which started with two first round matches on 6 November. The last 16 matches were held on 7 November, the quarter-finals and semi-finals on 8 November, and the final on 9 November. Arantxa Sanchis is a female professional English billiards and snooker player from India. She won a gold medal in the Women's Team event at the inaugural IBSF World 6-Red Snooker and Team Snooker Championship in Carlow, Ireland, on 6 October 2013. Diana Stateczny (born 13 January 1980) is a German snooker and professional pool player. She won the women's 2019 EBSA European Snooker Championship. Career Early career Stateczny started playing cue sports in 1995, initially pool, but focusing on snooker from around 2009. Wendy Jans (born 14 June 1983, in Bree, Belgium) is a Belgian professional snooker and pool player. She has won the IBSF World Snooker Championship for women seven times. She reached her first women's world final at the 2022 World Women's Snooker Championship, but lost 5–6 to Nutcharut Wongharuthai on the final black ball. Vidya Viswanathan Pillai (born 26 November 1977) is an Indian professional snooker player. Vidya Pillai grew up in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. In recognition of her achievements, the Government of Karnataka bestowed her with the Ekalavya award in 2016 for outstanding performance in Sports. Anastasia Nechaeva (born 9 May 1993) is a Russian snooker and pool player. She was runner-up in the 2014 and 2015 IBSF World Snooker Championships. Playing career Nechaeva had success in pool as a teenager, including winning the 2009 European Championship Girls Eight-ball championship and the 2009 European Championship Girls Nine-ball championship.
