The 2019 Houston Dash season is the team's sixth season as an American professional women's soccer team in the National Women's Soccer League. James Clarkson was appointed head coach on December 11, 2018 after Vera Pauw departed the team after only one season. Houston Dash
The Houston Dash is a professional women's soccer team based in Houston, Texas. It joined the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) in the 2014 season, and is affiliated with the MLS team Houston Dynamo FC. History Establishment On November 19, 2013, the Houston Dynamo began talks in the initial stages with the intention of bringing a top flight women's professional soccer franchise to Houston. Just a week later, the effort was bolstered when the Dynamo began accepting refundable deposits for a potential NWSL expansion team. On December 11, 2013, the National Women's Soccer League awarded the Houston Dynamo and the city of Houston an expansion franchise. Haley Jean McCutcheon (; born February 22, 1996) is an American soccer player who plays as a defender for Orlando Pride in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She has previously played for Houston Dash of the NWSL and for Melbourne Victory in the Australian W-League. She made her senior international debut for the United States in 2018. Amber Brooks
Amber Jean Brooks (born January 23, 1991) is an American professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). She has previously played for Adelaide United, Houston Dash, OL Reign, Portland Thorns, Bayern Munich, and Vancouver Whitecaps. Brooks has represented the United States as member of numerous youth national teams and has one cap with the senior national team. Ally Haran
Allyson Paige Haran (born May 21, 1996) is a professional soccer player who plays as a defender for Canberra United of A-League Women. Born in Canada, she has been called up to youth national team camps by both Canada and the United States. Early life Haran was born in Stratford, Ontario, Canada. She moved to the United States at an early age and was a two-sport athlete in soccer and basketball at Powers Catholic High School, earning first team All-Conference honors in 2011–12 and 2012–13 and an All-State honorable mention in 2012–13 for basketball. Lindsay Elizabeth Agnew (born March 31, 1995) is a Canadian retired soccer player who played as a forward for the Canada women's national soccer team and National Women's Soccer League clubs North Carolina Courage, Houston Dash, and Washington Spirit. Devon Angela Kerr (born July 3, 1997) is a Canadian former professional soccer player who played as a goalkeeper.
